British South Africa Company Medal 1890-97, reverse Mashonaland 1897 officially named to: 626 Sergt. H. A. Woods. B.S.A. Police.

Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Rhodesia officially named to: 626 Serjt. H. A. Woods. B.S.A. Police.

King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 officially named to: 626 Serjt: H. A. Woods. B.S.A. Police. 

British War Medal 1914-20 officially named to: Lieut. H. A. Woods.

Minor edge bruising to first, otherwise good very fine.

 Hamilton Arnison Woods was born in Lancashire 1874. He emigrated to Rhodesia and became a farmer then to Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. The farm was called Melville.
He died in Stellenbosch  in 1931.

Lieutenant Woods served on the Special Reserve of Officers (Royal Artillery). The War Medal is his only entitlement for WWI.
