Scarce WWII Polish Distinguished Flying Cross group to Squadron Leader Kazimierz Nowak

The Polish Order of The Virtuti Militari.

Polish Cross of Valour.

Distinguished Flying Cross reverse officially dated 1942. 

1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Defence and War Medals unnamed as issued.

Gold Fish membership card named to: F/LT. K. Nowak

Set of miniature medals.

Acting Flight Lieutenant Kazimierz Nowak (P0095, POLISH AIR FORCE), 305 Squadron was awarded the D.F.C. which was approved on the 5th Sept. 1942 (PRO Air 2/9591). Recommendation drafted 30th Jan. 1942 when he had flown 21 sorties totalling 111 hours of flight.

"Operational missions included attacks on Emden, Brest, Mannheim, Berlin and Wilhelmshaven. He has at all times displayed outstanding ability as a navigator which has ensured the success on operations on which he has been engaged. The skill, fearlessness and devotion to duty shown by this officer have established a high morale in his crew and in his squadron".

Also included are original document consisting of I.D. Card dated 1946, Two letters of congratulations from Headquarters, Medal confirmation slip in his name and three photos of the Squadron and F/Lt. Nowak.
