Charles Frederick Buser obtained his commission on 28 April 1915 and first served overseas in France from 7 February 1916. He suffered a dose of Enteritis on 6 March 1916 and received a shrapnel wound to his left shoulder and arm on 6 August 1916. His medals were issued by the India office in 1922. Buser lived at 12 Versailles, Anerley, South London.
